Services

Treatment 1.   Carried out late winter / early spring.

This treatment will be a low nitrogen feed containing a moss control + magnesium. Designed to give a nice green up of the lawn whilst dealing with any moss issues.

Treatment 2. Carried out spring / early summer.

A higher nitrogen feed to enhance colour and encourage growth + fungal and bacterial additives. A weed control will also be applied.

Treatment 3. Carried out summer early autumn.

This treatment is subject to weather patterns and can be changed to suit. Less nitrogen and more potassium are normally what is required + a weed control.

Treatment 4. Carried out autumn / early winter.

Can be either a granular or liquid feed dependent on condition of lawn. Will include a moss control + trace elements and soil conditioners such as humic and fulvic acids + seaweed.

Scarifying. Can be carried out as required.

Lawns otherwise in good condition can be scarified over autumn and winter with no ill effects. If moss is an issue it is better carried out between treatment 1 & 2 so any residual moss does not have a chance to regrow before the growing season starts.

Aeration

Either hollow or solid tine aeration is best carried out over winter. This is usually when the soil is moist and the rainfall is highest. It is at this time when maximum benefit is gained by improving drainage, and therefore discouraging moss.

Lawn Mowing

Regular lawn mowing is essential for maintaining a neat, healthy, and well-presented outdoor space. Cutting the grass at the correct height encourages stronger growth, helps prevent weeds and moss from taking hold, and keeps your lawn looking its best throughout the growing season. Frequency of mowing will depend on the time of year and weather conditions, with more regular cuts required during spring and summer when growth is at its peak.

Note

These treatments can be subject to change if either weather or lawn conditions dictate. Flexibility is an important part of our operations and we will always take decisions based on our experience.
